I agree OTWO. Just leave it behind you, and quit whining about it. For as much whining that is done, think of the things you could be accomplishing. It's over, done, cooked, stick a fork in it.
Move on. Invent something. Write some music.

the transportation security administration has opened an investigation targeting john tyner, the oceanside man who left lindbergh field under duress on saturday morning after refusing to undertake a full body scan.. tyner recorded the half-hour long encounter on his cell phone and later posted it to his personal blog, along with an extensive account of the incident.
the blog went viral, attracting hundreds of thousands of readers and thousands of comments.. michael j. aguilar, chief of the tsa office in san diego, called a news conference at the airport monday afternoon to announce the probe.
Every American has to go through a humiliating and time consuming hell every time any one of us has to fly anywhere in the country, or the world. This nightmare is due strictly to the actions of Islamic terrorists. Now, due to the Obama-determined decision of certain of our non-elected bureaucrats, we are now excepting Islamists, and only Islamists – THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SWORN TO ANNIHILATE AMERICA – from being forced to submit the examination of this machine that is the only thing that can detect certain terrorist explosives. In other words, the organization created to protect the American traveling public is now, under the Obama Administration, being prevented from doing so due to reasons of politically correct religious (again, addressed only to the world of Islam) sensitivity.

ive been thinking about the future of the watchtower organization and the challenges it faces in coming decades.
its difficult to address the issue without allowing personal feelings affect the analysis.
many people seem to think that the society will collapse fairly soon, based mostly on the fact that the person dislikes the leadership or cant understand how others can believe the doctrine.
First, they'll download a "Master Copy" for the elders only to control. Then I expect that they will charge each congregation with the responsibility of printing and binding their own magazines right in the kingdom hall (not hard to do and the equipment isn't that expensive).

While I understand your comparison of choices (Disneyland or Bethel) for the young man, the truth is, we really don't know what his options were. The only to way to really find out is to aks him directly. Anything other than this response is pure conjecture.
Again, I say, if he's happy with his choice, then we should all be happy for him.
sometimes in many conversations or debates, some people try to end it by saying "i agree to disagree".

My opinion: Time is too valuable to argue an opinion. If someone wants to remain adamant about a position they have taken, right or wrong, that's fine with me. I don't have time to argue.
For example, during the financial meltdown of 2008 Bank of America's stock went from $60.00 to $3.50. People (I know) would argue it's the end of the world and BofA was corrupt, and they deserved a $3.50 share price, and the were going out of business, and they were this, and they were that, etc...
Didn't have time or the desire to argue the points..I just formed my own opinion and kept it to myself. I then proceeded to purchase lots of BofA shares at $4.00. In eight months the price went to $18.00 and I sold.
Lesson: It does no good to disagree if YOU'RE RIGHT.....and they're wrong.

james bond composer john barry turned 77 the other day.. in honor of his birthday i decided to compose a tribute to his wonderfully evocative music for the early bond films.. this is an original composition that uses the style and thematic vamps which make the bond films so enjoyable.. a walk down bond street.
Makes me want to pop in one of the Bond movies from my collection....
